After Progress Test..
Ahh...finally progress test was over. It was on last Monday afternoon. Well, the paper was tough i would say. I thought i was the only one but thank gooodnes most people said the questions were very ambiguous too. At least it is a good sign ..phew...
This time there were many surgical questions and emergency procedures, not to say we didn't know what to do but the choices given were so close that kind of got us confused which one should be the first. I supposed we think too much and our minds went cuckoo. Most of the time we were thinking -
" Aha, is this a trick question or what? how? should it be A, B , C or D or E? " Before u could realise it, 5 minutes might have passed and there u go wasting time.
The paper started at 2 pm and we got 2.5 hours to complete the paper. So, at 3.30pm i still got 50 questions to go and I panicked. I knew i have not got enough time to finish all if i kept the same pace thinking left and right about which answer should i pick so i decided to speed up. For most of the questions, i just picked the first answer that i "think" I would do/ perform the investigation or management plans . So it was like super duper fast- i didn't even have time to read the questions - i just screened through it...OH Please hope there was no trick question. Darn the paper! Thinking i was the slowest, end up i found out there were people who were not able to complete them. Poor thing...i gotta admit these sort questions are those u know it or u don't. Coz no matter how long u think, u will NEVER get it- Learned my lesson, I SHOULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME IN THE WARDS!!! arghh... have to be more kiasu..hmm i wonder how the year 1 and year 2 feel? coz there were only 2 physiology questions and obviously they are not allowed in the wards yet which means they will have no idea how to tackle those management questions. AH, but maybe all they need to do is score 2% to pass? hehe..
Well, let's just hope everyone passes....=)
